You don't need to know how to pose, that's part of my job! I will always fix your hair, tell you when your arm looks weird, and make sure you laugh at least once! :p My sessions are supposed to feel fun, not forced. We'll blast some of your favorite music, talk about life, and maybe sneak in a sweet treat... or two!
The FAQ
How many photos do we get?
Each session comes with an unlimited amount of images. Meaning, as many good photos that I like, you will receive! This could be from anywhere between 50-150+!
What's your turn around time?
I know you’ll be excited to see your photos, so I work hard to get them back to you as quickly as possible! Seniors, couples, and families usually receive their finished galleries within 1–4 weeks. Weddings take a bit more time and care, so those are typically delivered within 6–10 weeks.
How do we get our photos?
Gallery Delivery is sent through E-mail or Messages. Pixieset will require your gallery password and an email to download your photos. Flashdrives available upon request with an additional charge.
What should we wear?
I suggest sticking to soft creams, ivories, pure neutrals and earth tones as they photograph beautifully in natural light and outdoor settings while keeping the same clean look. Avoid pure white, loud patterns, logos, and anything too busy! Most importantly, aim for colors that complement each other well, rather than identical outfits.
P.S. - barefoot in nature is always a YES from me! :-)
Do you Travel?
I do! Travel fees for sessions in the Midwest look like:
25 mile radius of Clark County, IL = free
In 50 mile radius = $50
In 100 mile radius = $75
In 150 mile radius = $100

How can we help our little ones have the best photo experience?
Making sure kiddos are well-rested and have eaten beforehand helps prevent meltdowns, crankiness, and frustration. Happy, comfortable littles are more relaxed and engaged, which leads to natural smiles and a smoother, more enjoyable session for everyone.
Can we bring props?
Yes! Props are welcome, but simple is best. Items that are meaningful to you like a hat, jacket, bouquet, sports gear, medals, trophies, or small sentimental pieces can add personality without distracting from you. Avoid large or overly bright props, as the focus should always remain on you.
How far out do you book?
Booking takes place just 3 months in advance for a traditional session. Weddings can be booked out 1-2 years in advance.
